Independent Day or Boarding School Advising
Sound Consulting staff have experience as Directors of Admission at leading independent day and boarding schools. Through their decades of collective work experience they have the expertise to guide each family through the process: from crafting a list of schools to consider, to completing the application including constructing outstanding essays, to interview preparation, to analyzing and weighing acceptances to find just the right match for you. Sound Consulting team members have placed their 12 individual children at 9 different independent schools.
Junior Boarding School Advising
Finding a boarding school for your middle school/junior high school aged son or daughter is a unique application process. Sound Consulting founders and partners have served as Director of Admission and Headmaster at two junior boarding schools. Additionally, they have had their own children attend two other junior boarding schools. Their personal and professional experience places them ready to offer expert advice and counsel as you consider this unique boarding option.
